Gessa

It is one of the most picturesque villages of the Valley due to its streets and elevated location above the highway the Garona river from which there are wonderful views of the Mont Romies forest. There is a beautiful trail which is full of blackcurrents, raspberries and mushrooms in season just up to the base of the mountain with the same name. Its church is dedicated to San Pedro has a especially enchanting  with its slender hexagonal belfry over its thick and strong squared tower.
