Betlan

The village is located in the hills to the right of the Garona river, surrounded by farming lands and fields. The few houses which make up this village are around a large closed square with the church at one end. In medieval documents the village appears with the names, Bella, Bela, Bellano y Betlano. In addition, Betlan is popular because the famous giant Mandronius lived here and fought valiently against the Roman invaders. His dwelling is located in of the in one of the nearby spots with excellent views of the Baricauba forest in the distance.
